I read on here that Malena has left The Driftwood due to "friction"?? Please say it isn't so! She is a major asset for that place. We know so many tourists that loved to see her every year, including us. Does anybody know if she has a job elsewhere on the island? We hope so.

The gal that waited on me at Driftwood last week was very nice. The rum punch drink was a bit strong, however. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" />

Just left the island yesterday another fantastic trip. Went to driftwood three times this year and drinks were great although the service was slower than usual, Malena is definitely missed!!

A lot of people don't back there because of the changes. I don't go back there period. I have know that place from way back.

We visited in March and it was cool. We had great service and the rum punch was excellent.
