Not exactly a trip report…..just a few observations..
Spent 10 days 5/13-5/23 at The Atrium…very nice place (our 3rd time there) Well maintained & very nice people. Convenient location---several very good restaurants & 2 casinos with easy walking distance.
TTOL party at BBB---Thanks to Bill & Elaine for putting it together. Fun meeting lots of nice people. Great drinks & excellent pizza.
BBB is a great place--yes wearing TTOL hats/shirts gets you 2 for 1 beer/wine/mixed drinks. Excellent food from D’ Grill--the cheeseburgers really do deserve the “best of the Caribbean “ award. Spoke to Neil----very nice interesting guy (remember me--”white boy‘s” father?) Best of luck to you and we’ll be back again and again.
Did the Loterie Farm zip lines--everyone loved it. Would recommend it.
Recent posts have been very critical of Peg Leg Pub. We tried it with no complaints. Shawn was our waiter & he was excellent, the service prompt, and the food very good. We all had the filet mignon. After dinner they brought around cards to fill out to get opinions on the food/service, etc. I got the impression they read the criticisms, and are working hard to improve things.
Did the Friday Farewell cruise on the Golden Eagle for the 2nd time. Still excellent--lots of fun.
Someone else mentioned mosquitoes in their trip report--YES there were lots of them this year.
Made annual trip to DK Jewelers in Phillipsburg---got a beautiful bracelet. Thanks Deepti.
Ate lots of excellent food---Baywatch (Andy’s mussels super!), Halseys in Simpson bay (excellent) & several other places--never disappointed.
Lots of beach time---Mullet, Orient, Friars.
Wonderful trip--time to plan for the next one
