Hey All - It's been years since I've had to provision in Road Town but we are coming up on our trip on May 16. We use to go through Bobby's for food and Tico's for booze but now it seems Riteway is what most people recommend for both food and alcohol. We never had a problem with Tico's in the past - should I go all in with Riteway or have another company handle the alcohol? and what happened to Bobby's?? Thanks for any help.... We used Ticos for booze. They were supposed to come Saturday afternoon but never showed up. Sunday one of the ladies at Moorings said she knew one of the drivers so she would call him. I had to go back a few hours later since he still hadn't shown up. I'm not sure if she forgot to call or they just hadn't come yet, but after that call they were there very quickly. They had everything we asked for- vodka, rum and beer.
We didn't use Riteway for anything (except when we got there)- picked Ticos because of the better price on Bud Light and I think their liquor was cheaper as well.

ditto caribbean cellars, extensive wine list and many of our booze choices were cheaper than ticos or bobbys, due to the size of our group this trip (8 adults) we have provisions from bobbys, ticos and caribbean cellar, fly Wednesday, can't wait!!!

We just returned and did the same thing as CanadianGirrrl! We got food from Bobby's (wonderful) and used both Caribbean Cellars and Tico's for booze. We checked both and made smart choices because of prices but mainly wanted a backup in case one didn't show up. CC was late but showed up. The seem to have a wonderful wine list!
Have fun.

We used Caribbean cellars last month. They arrived about 5:30pm on sat night and our order was missing all the gallons of water, 4 bottles of rum, 2 bottles of vodka and white wine. Apparently they just ran out of those items. Luckily we were headed to Riteway that night to provision our food so we could at least pick up the water there.

I have used both CC and Tico's. Really depends on which one has the best price on what you need. I had a terrible experience with Caribbean Cellars one fall trip. They were suppose to deliver to the boat at 9:00 AM, about 10:00 and no delivery I called the office, they told me the driver was on his way. At 11, still no CC, called again, this time they told me he was loading up the van with my order. Noon, still no driver, I think he finally showed up about 12:30. He showed up with 2 cases of beer and one bottle of rum. I had ordered 7 cases of beer, 4 bottles of vodka, 4 bottles of rum and other things, I don't remember. So now we waited 4 hours and got 2 cases of beer! If they would have just told me when I called the first time that they were out of most everything, I would have went to plan B, but the fact they kept telling me he was on his way, and then he shows up with a 1/5 of the order was not right.
When I called back and talked to the manager, no I was not the nicest person in the world, he asked me where our first stop would be that night. We were headed to Cooper Island. He said the first round of drinks was on him and he would deliver the rest of our order to Cooper.
When he arrived at Cooper, he didn't have the brand of beer or vodka I ordered, so he substititued, but it was free.
In the end he made it right, so I would use them again, but it was very frustrating to say the least.

Thanks for all the input guys- I will check out pricing on-line and decide from there. Believe we used CC in the past and it worked fine. A good possibility we will do a combination from Riteway and either Tico's or CC just to make sure we have something to keep our thirst quenched in case the worst happens. Capt Jay

I have provisioned with Bobby's for about 9 trips now, their excel macro works fine. I always receive a prompt response from Cindy letting me know the final price and confirmation. They have always delivered on time and the substitutions if any have been minimal (usually a size of container substitution, ie 2 4 lb bags of charcoal rather than 1 9 lbs bag)
We have provisioned beer wine and spirits from Caribbean Cellars for the last 3 or 4 trips. I have had to call them and resend order several times prior to trip, seldom received confirmation that order was received and would be delivered. Their prices are great. On all but one order it worked out fine, some substitutions. On our last trip they did not deliver as expected. We arranged for a Saturday delivery because we were arriving on a Sunday, they are closed on Sunday. In short, they did not deliver on Saturday, ended up taking cab to Riteway. I called them on Monday, they had my order but no explanation of why it was not delivered. I will use them again but will try harder to get confirmation before we fly.
