We'll be staying at Maho in May and want to do dinners out (at least 4 or so over the week). What are must do's in Maho? I know there are a few new restaurants there since last year. Can someone give me their names?

My Maho must-do list is short but sweet, all of them.
#1...Moulin Fou on Tuesday evenings, preferably #2...LaRosa Too #3...Bajatzhu
These are definitely not newbies but they are what we consider to be the best of the Maho offerings based on our personal likes. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

Depends what you like. Our fav is Moulin Fou, others I'm sure will chime in your more options. Are you limited to Maho or can you drive, if yes, then more options in Cupecoy close by J&B

I'll second Moulin Fou.
For Chinese, Winnie's isn't bad.

We got such an amazing deal at Maho so we just decided to be veggies this year. This is our 30th+ visit to SXM, so we've pretty much seen and done everything, but we never spent much time in the Maho area and only ever went to Cheri's (meh) because I never cared for the parking garage. This will be a totally unique experience for us, but my hubby is having some surgery this week and will probably just want to rest, recuperate and relax.

i also second Bajatsu and Le MOulen Fou. Did LaRosa last week, and for the first time we were dissapointed. Portions MUCH smaller than usual, the filet was small and tasteless, and my wife's favorite dish there, the Seafood Soup, was a total rip off!!! The service was not their usual up to par either...and we were only one of about five tables the most that night. For Italian instead, I would put Pizza Pasta. Again, nothing new, but the only ''new'' restaurant in Maho is the Paris something, but so far haven't been there.

Please consider Moomba and Bamboos! Ate at both places a few times in February. Great meals and won't break the bank!

Moulin Foo is our favorite but a little pricey. Less expensive options are Pizza Pasta & Three Amigos

Moulin Fou for a nicer dinner.
We are big Pizza Pasta fans. Good gnocchi, pizzas, etc. We are usually able to split a salad and share a pizza, with a bottle of wine. Casual atmosphere.
The Chinese place is pretty good, as mentioned. Winnies.
Personally, we did NOT care for 3 Amigos. It was awful Mexican. Though Jimbo's was ripped apart on a recent thread, it's better IMO, and better preparation and presentation at Jimbo's than this new place.
There is another little place at the edge of the Alegria property that serves arrepas and latin american foods. Name escapes me right now........VERY casual. edit: just remembered....Taco Macho <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" />
