Anyone interested in sharing a water taxi on 4/18 heading from RT going back to STT. We would be leaving no later than 11 am. We have party of 4. If we get more than 5 in party the cost would be 95pp plus 40 for C&I. the taxiwould drop us off in Red Hook so cab is needed from there as well. Feel free to PM me as well if you are interested.

they are charging you to check in, when you have to check in in person in USVI. I can understand BVI because they are checking in for you. There is no charge from customs in USVI.

Have you thought about a private air charter? It would be airport to airport and no Red Hook to STT taxi charge and no $40 C&I fee

Dohms is a US based company. If they were BVI based they would not have been stopped from delivering to final destinations last month. Definitely no service or expense being covered by that $40.

The cost for four people should be very close to the cost you were quoted and without having to sit in a taxi for 30 minutes or so. I have always used in Tortola "Island Birds" ( Bob Lamier from Maine) They have always been right on time to meet you at the airport and their planes have a strict maintenance program.

I must be missing something.... Aren't there earlier "regular" ferries from RT to CA on 4/18 ?

It seems like they would rather have a private form of transportation without the hassles of lines etc. It makes ending the trip a lot more pleasant.

CGB said: Ok... gotcha... mind you...Saturday morning ferry mid-April this year might almost be private anyways CGB: My inquiries about the water taxis was based on my concern about the ferries. We are bringing our boat back on Saturday to Moorings and I have the 4pm flight to MIA on AA and the rest of my crew on DL at about 4:50. If we are on the noon RTFF do you think we will have any issues? Insight appreciated.
