We had another amazing time visiting so many nice people old and new at the friendly island. We got out of Newark the day of another snow event like we did not have enough.

Great Flight on time United Staff excellent. Budget Rent a car was great.

Took to off to Orient as the Regatta was in full swing. Stayed at Palm Court and nice simply hotel security was great and the manager the bellman was great. We unpacked and relaxed. The pool was nice and the room had a coffee maker which was perfect.

We had dinner at LePiment both nights everyone meal was great and Fridays we have Pizza and Salads. They even had a live band which was super. Each night we ate around 8 which was perfect.

Kakao was the best food on the beach at Orient the fish for two was great and others had burgers one was very rare and was supposed to be medium.

Now off to Simpson Bay we stay at Lavista which is great small quite and clean. We parked and walked over to toppers on top for another simple but good meal. There brisket was very very good. Then casino for a bit and off to bed.

The next day off to see Rosie at Mullet Bay it was her B day but she was not there great ribs and super friendly staff. Her husband was there. Dinner at Luna Rosa was good.

The friends that were staying at the Pelican did not sleep well the first night with the parties for the Regatta. Went to see Kool and the Gang... everything about the show was just amazing.

Other Nights great ate at the new Beirut eatery...which was amazing. Dinner at Luna Rose good Spiga in Gran Case great Lunch at Rainbow with Johnny (USED TO BE THE BEACH BOY AT LASTRING) Izi was good. Our biggest disappointment was Pineapple Pete dinner was fair at best.

Overall another great trip great island and next week maybe two weeks!

Thanks ... Carol Hill... long story.. but I always lose it ... and then when I go back... sort of say.. ok it is fine... but again we love SXM two countries and one island... and nothing better... Oh Zee Best we sat outside ... and it was ok... but they have a issue outside to the left with the a sewage smell which made it not a pleasant experience. Piece of Cake has a new owner and did not have the almond pastries and the lemon crape is not the same but still great staff and service... wifi was good. The other problem is that I could not get my exchange emails to work for my office. We signed up for the Verizon plan but never works and could not send.. Yahoo and GMail did work however... any suggestions for next time????? We also had to help out with an large accident that happened right outside budget it was a mult car accident and we have issues with traffic which made it stressful to get back to the airport on time... and not much time to buy our rums at the airport for our carry ons.. One other note I always pack and LEAVE my clothes on the island... nice stuff but if I debate.. slightly outdated but still look good I leave them for a friend that I met on the island... which is another nice idea to give back ... shoes sneakers etc.. all is usually welcome and makes it easier to fill your suitcases with gifts...

I don't know if I'd like to eat "crape".

Where is Piece of Cake....you didn't happen to mean Taste Factory by any chance....

Piece of Cake is in Simpson bay near Scotia Bank...many years ago it was called Where's Ivan? and it's right near the new Pizza Italy restaurant
