I would love some advice regarding the best way to get from the airport in St. Maarten to Anguilla. A private water taxi will be cost prohibitive so looking at the various public offerings.

Our day trip on GB Express in Feb - by the airport was $90 + $13 Anguilla depart tax - round trip
The public ferry leaves from Marigot, which means a cab ride from the airport. You'll pay a french depart tax - $5, $15? each way and the $13 Anguilla depart tax. So less money than a ride from the airport, but you have to add in the taxi cost.
Timing maight be an issue if you rushing to make a late ferry from Marigot.

Take a cab to the dock in Marigot - $20.00 for the cab, public ferry to Anguilla, $15-$20.00 per person, (long story) Cash. Think the SXM departure tax is $5.00. If you are a daytripper to AXA the departure tax is $5.00, if you are staying overnight it is $28.00 per person. Cash. Public ferries run 8am to 6pm - island time. Ellen

Was that per person, or for both of you? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/pirate.gif" alt="" />

THe GB price would be per person. We took them last year. More money but if you are in the Simpson Bay/airport area and don't want to drive to Marigot, it is a reasonable option.
