This is the quick trip to Tortola that my prince of a husband agreed to in a weak moment - and I absolutely love his weakness for d'ilons This is our sixth trip to the BVI and the first time we've gone down twice in a year and the first time in Feb. I think it's going to be new habit ... but then you knew that

We spent 6 nights at the Tamarind and we'll definitely stay there again for our nights before and after the VG trips. Everything you've heard here before is true. Great family run clean inn, great bar and pool, great food, adorable island dogs, great value. They had live music 3 nights. Yeah, we could hear it at our room, but it ended by 9 or 10 and the AC drowned it out enough that we could sleep the nights we turned in early.

Highlights:
We had several great seared tuna dinners, lunches, and Sunday Brunch at Tamarind.

After a great sunset and dinner at Banakeet, we listened to Quito solo Thursday - what a talented, sensitive man!!

2 trips with Patouche - always firstclass. Great Snorkeling!!

Hike to the bubbly pool - was not bubblin', but nice to see a different part of the BVI

Several great meals at Naomi's on Josiah's Bay - Lovely, caring woman and terrific food.

Watching big surf and surfer's at Josiah's.

Extraordinary Sunset dinner at Brandywine and visiting with Davide

Limin' with Hubby

Lowlights:
stressful driving on Tortola with meeting huge construction trucks on the Ridge Road and the traffic in Roadtown.

Crowing roosters at all hours of the night
