We are looking for a fun Dance Spot, not a big club like Tantra or Bliss, but something that plays 90's dance music and has a croud mostly in their 30's and 40's. Does such a place exist and is it safe to be out late dancing with a group of 5 men and women?

With 5 couples you can make your own party. The band that used to play at the Peg Leg before it closed was great. I heard they play at LaBamba some nights. Red Piano would be a good choice too depending on night.

I've been known to dance alone, my wife prefers it that way! ![[Linked Image]](http://i1358.photobucket.com/albums/q778/BEERMANRICK/MARDI%20GRAS%20DAY%202/MARDI%20GRAS%20Day%204/IMG_1635_zpsc691839b.jpg)

La Bamba on Sunday nights around 7. Great R&R from 70's to 90's. Wide range of people, 25-80.
Next SXM visit -November 2023. Also January 2024.

I've heard Red Piano is really smokey though, is that true? What about La Bamba? Thank you!

Red Pianna (inside joke!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" />) is very smokey, yes. La Bamba is outside, so no smoke issues, but when we have been there, the music is much older--often 70's and 80's, not 90's, which I guess you were looking for.

La Bamba is on KimSha Beach. Park in the lot across from Skipjacks. Lots of fun. We ate at the Blue Fin in the Atlantis complex two weeks ago. Altho a fish restaurant; the owner is a fisherman; I had a great duck appetizer.
