Wheels up in 2 hours! (we make it all the way to Atlanta today; on to the islands tomorrow!). Can't wait to get on the boat (and see my kids!) Wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone on this forum - your input & advice has been invaluable for planning this trip. Ha ha! We're originally from Ohio - both my kids go to Ohio State. We've always spent our summers up here on the lake and we decided to pick up & move permanently last spring. Love it up here!

The people n front of me on the plane are talking about a charter boat trip. A couple who has been several times are giving advice to the other man. It is clear he has not do e one minute of research- he has no idea where to go or what to do. The couple hasn't been in years and they told him to see Michael Bean at Marina Cay. It makes all the more happy I found this site- I feel so prepared!

Agreed it is a fantastic group of folks and the collective knowledge is amazing. Have a wonderful trip guys ....I'm sure all of your prep work will pay off . We are inbound to San Juan (39,000 ft right now!!)...we'll be arriving EIS early morning and hope to be off the dock by noon heading for Norman. We'll be flying a VATech pennant on the mono haul "Honeymoon Suite".
