Leaving for SXM on Thursday. How do we get to NBBC? renting a car arriving at 12:30. How long is the drive? Where can I find a good driving map online or just get one from the airport.

We just returned from our first trip and stayed at NBBC. The drive from Maho to NBBC is about 15 minutes, easy drive many speed humps dont bottom out! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Yikes.gif" alt="" /> your rental agency will give you a map, the google map above is right on. you really cant get lost. I'll post a photo later of the security gate so you'll recognize it.

The google map ghjr posted is great follow blue line.
The opposite way may look shorter but it has too many turns and puts you smack into Marigot traffic then you'd have to backtrack.

Sorry, should have specified blue line side. BTW the last sharp turn on the map before NBBC is where the parking is for Baie Rouge which is very convenient to NBBC and one of our new favorites. Great beach with good affordable food and drinks.

the best map is by Michael Kasprowski aka Kasp[rowski Publishing. You can see them at Midok.com. They are available at Van Dorp bookstore in Simpson Bay. It is on Airport Rd. among all the shops on the right before (If I remember correctly) the drawbridge. Also at the Mailbox in Simpson Bay, Shipwreck Stores (not sure location) and the Phillipsburg Post Office. It is a super map! Mine is all taped together now but has had some great use!
