in short 8-10BU/year

If you don't have a place in line now for hurricane season....you should. I just walked through both hards last week. not a single boat had a ladder going up to it. I would say it is RARE to live aboard on hard, and may be specifically not allowed, these are some of the details:

First haul and launch must be paid
Minimum of five (5) months must be paid in advance or at first haul out
You are entitled to five (5) haul and launches at no charge during the storage period.
You pay for all dockage, electric and water seperately
Storage Rates: Monohulls: $16.00/ft/month
Catamarans: $26.00/ft/month
hurricane straps-800/yr

Robert what is 8-10BU? The free hauls are a special deal, we did not opt for it, there a few exclusions we did not like, check it out.

Busy, you will die in Nanny Cay's boatyard without A/C. Stay at the hotel they have special rates for people in their yard. I think we paid $100 a night for a dock view.

BU=boat unit=a method of incremental payment that EVERYTHING costs on a boat.
+1 on the hotel, it is always 10 degrees hotter in the yard/slips.

Take it down to Grenada. Half the price and decent facilities.

It is possible to stay on your boat while doing repairs depending on the length of stay you are considering and that is at the discretion of the General Manager.....Lucianne Contact ljackson@virgingordayachtharbor.com for more information.
