SXM Part 2 (EXTRA Photo's)

For those that use Photobucket I'd like to ask a favor.....this has been happening a lot lately and I'd like to know if it is a problem specific to my account, when I resize/edit my photo's it can take several hours if not a full day to have my changes saved in my folder. When I resize my photo to meet TTOL spec's, basically 600X400 and save it, it says my changes have been made, but when I copy them to a post they are still original size, HUGE. I've contacted Photobucket Support to see what's happening, but no response yet. Can someone run a test in the test section of TTOL and see if you're having the same issue please?! Thanks.

Part 3 of my trip report is done, just waiting for latest photo editing to change in my account. In the meantime here are some additional photo's from our second day to keep me writing!

BEERMAN, I resize my photos before I put them onto Photobucket. I have a very slow internet service so its the only way I can upload.

Had no problem loading a photo to Photobucket last night, resizing it, then posting it. Just tried one now, can't get it to save, Photobucket is hung up. I'll try a bit later to see what heppens.

I had the same problem with Photo Bucket and ended up just providing a link to my photos. So, it is not you. It is Photo Bucket.

Here's the response I got the other day from Photobucket Support. I'll try to attach a photo I resized just 2 hours ago, let's see if it is smaller yet?? Nope Denied.

"There can be a delay when editing images, and them displaying the edits. Usually its not more than 20 minutes, but it can be a few hours, depending on how quickly the cache is updated. Clearing your own browser cache can also speed up the time it takes to display those images, as the older version of the photo will also be cached in your browser."

Photobucket was the slowest it's ever been, but finally came through. I think I'm done posting photos for this year.

Don't stop posting photo's, they're great! I sent another email to Photobucket Support, let's see what they say!
