Any idea who is performing? I remember arriving on a Saturday several years ago only to find out that Shaggy performed that evening. Bummer because I found out the next day.

Kool and the Gang are the headline band on Sunday night. Should be a blast.

Saturday is a band from Antigua @ 8pm, and Tessanne Chin (winner of the Voice) at 10pm. But, these things always go late. sound check is going on now. those early to bed be warned!

Uh, maybe I am missing something here BUT for the last 35 years there has been Heineken Regatta on this weekend. So most people plan for/around it.

What's missing is this is the first year that Saturday's party is on KimSha Beach and not in Marigot. Asher Otto & Itchy Feet sound great. Waiting for Tessanne.

I think one other year they had two parties on Kim Sha. They had one in Marigot that year but prior to the Boardwalk in town I am pretty sure I recall two here on Kim Sha.

Yes, I remember that also, can't remember which year, but there were two parties on Kim Sha.

It has been a good regatta, we return our committee boat tomorrow but it has treated us well for all the races. I worked committee boat "B", which was the bareboat and lottery classes; the starts kept on getting better and better over the week - plus the winds finally settled to normal Caribbean conditions today. A couple of ripped sails and various protests were all we had in our divisions.
