My Jetblue flight says we arrive in SXM at 12:30 pm. Is this really 1:30 SXM time? We have a driver picking us up when we arrive and I want to be sure I am telling him the correct time. Thanks!

The ticket will show the time you arrive in SXM time. Don't forget after this weekend, when Daylight Saving Time begins, Eastern Standard and Atlantic time will be the same

Yes after this Sunday NYC and Caribbean will be on the same time. During Fall / Winter months we are 1 hour behind.

Yes, that is correct. But even were it not, the time on your ticket is your arrival time at your destination, in their time zone.

Always true but not knowing if there is a time change can mentally make you think your flight is an hour longer than it is smile

Eastern Daylight Time will equal Atlantic Standard Time. Some areas, notably Bermuda, change to Atlantic Daylight Time which remains 1 hr ahead.
