Suggest you check out the sponsors and also do a search as there are countless different car rental threads, but REMEMBER - they generally end up with most everyone making promotional posts for their favorite company which, in the end, which really tells you nothing. My suggestion is check out the sponsors here and send them email requests as to the service you want - car provided at airport or go to their facility; type and size of vehicle - jeep, suv, van or small car; dates of arrival, etc; and see what kind of responses you get. There are many good ones on island. As you will get many favorites. Most are sponsors here. So get some quotes ( as the % of taxes, fees and other charges vary) Ask for a complete total with all taxes and fees in the quote.

Also make sure you get Liability Insurance. Most companies charge extra for that. I use Hertz in SXM as they include free Liability ins in the quote. Credit card doesn't cover the liability, just collision.

Agreed, get quotes from several people, including all taxes and fees, because different companies charge different tax rates and some have additional charges for airport fees, etc. Get a quote including everything you are interested in.
