Without searching threads, our visiting friends want to spend the day on the beach & watch the planes, can you rent chairs & & umbrellas on the beach by airport? Thanks <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" />

Certainly you can. Just check the cruise ship schedule before you go. Pick a day when there are at the most one or two ships in. Otherwise, it is a total mob scene there.

May I just mention, I see so many groups at Karakter and a few other places scamming the chair system. Early morning, an old book and an old towel go to the chairs, and much later in the day, the people actually show up. Very often a bag with drinks comes too. No intent to purchase from the chair host. Come on everybody, step up and pay please.

Maybe they are actually renting the chairs from them. In that case I would bring my our cooler too.

Karakter doesn't rent their chairs. They are free to those who eat or drink there. I've seen the same abuses there as sailbynight has.

Speaking of coolers, when you pay for chairs and umbrella at club O, can you bring a cooler?

Yes, even if you DON'T pay for their chairs.. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Smile.gif" alt="" /> Bring your own chairs, sit on a towel, pay for their chairs, regardless, bring that cooler with drinks and food. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Thumbsup.gif" alt="" />
