Miami immigration has improved about 5000% in the last few years.Knock on wood!!!!!!!!!!When we came thru Feb. 15th they now have many many kiosks and kiosk lines handled very orderly.Luggage took quite a while to come up.But after that is was a breeze. Our tickets were marked TSA PRECK so we went thru the express line after we had rechecked our luggage and bingo we were done.I guess that was to make up for our broken plane when we were attempting to leave Kansas City on the first of February . It caused to have to overnight in Miami. All in all a great trip. And a gold star for Miami immigration!!

B+Another nice improvement in Miami is that the "forever walk" from deplanning to C & I has now been replaced with a walk up to the top level of deplanning building, catch the train to the C & I building, then walk down to the kiosk.

Next SXM visit -November 2023. Also January 2024.

wow, that is nice to hear. In past MIA has been an immigration he-- for us. Once thru had the dickens of a time figuring out where to recheck our AA luggage. Then back thru security.

Really? My wife and I came into Miami from Barbados the last week of January, this year, and we stood in line for well over an hour to get to one of the kiosks, so that we could then go and stand in another line for about 40 minutes to finally go through customs. I was thoroughly unimpressed with their operation!

I assume it may depend on what day and time you arrive. It's just like arriving and leaving SXM. If you arrive late at night and leave first thing in morning, you breeze through.
