Boca Restaurant offers a real bargain on Saturday nights - a three course caribbean meal, for $20! Lots of choice in the appetizers and entrees, and three for desert. The creme brûlée is lovely! Service is excellent - highly recommended. You will need a reservation!

Is this something new? I will on the island in 3 weeks with a group and this might be a place we consider trying. What were the entree choices for the special? I am also curious as to the 15% TAX shown when I place an online order. To my knowledge St. Maarten has no such tax. Is this a "service charge"? OrderIs the picture of the kitchen and staff a "stock" picture or it is the actual setting and staff? Thanks.

RuralCarrier, I think the pictures on the website re: the staff are stock pictures from somewhere? Had lunch there twice in the last couple of weeks and didn't see anyone resembling the people in the picture. Wife had the chicken wrap yesterday and it sorta resembled the one on the website. The bill had a little flyer advertising the Saturday night special for 19.95. I had fish and chips both times for lunch, very good with light batter on the fish, good fries and small salad on the plate for 11.95. They add 15% service. Also do not serve tap water. Waiter said since Gonzo they don't serve tap water. Asked what they wash dishes in, she smiled and said tap water.

If you can't drink it, the dishes probably should not be washed in it either? Kind of like using ice cubes from water that is not potable.
