Has anyone eaten there? We wandered over after dinner at coco may. The restaurant was busy and is georgiuos.

Trip advisor rates it 4 stars.

beautiful location with a very swanky vibe. Go for drinks & hang out. I was not impressed with the food at all. I have seen others who said they enjoyed the food.

The food at the Rock varies widely. I have had a couple of great meals and a few MEH. Has a nice piano bar, not my favorite restaurant.

Love both restaurants - we've been going to the Rock for years - yes sometimes the food is just okay and other times it's fantastic - good party vibe and the place to see many of the island regulars - when Clarkie is the chef it is fantastic - course you can also hire him to cook in the villa.

We had pizza at the Rock for a low key inexpensive meal. Pizza was great. Coming from NJ and always having NJ / NY pizza all my life, this says a lot. Enjoy.

I love the spaghetti a la rock - with pasta, peas and bacon - to die for - order one dish and feed two people.

in December, we ate at the Rock Café and it was very good. We returned later in the stay and ate in the Treehouse Restaurant section of the Rock Cafe. It is up a long flight of stairs, past the outside dining area of the Rock, perched above the treetops, and operates with a dedicated staff, kitchen and menu. Small, intimate, neat location and a fine meal. We were there at sunset and it was perfect.

I don't recall what we paid. It was not inexpensive.

I just found this review that mentions some prices.

Treehouse review

We sat out on the balcony that the reviewer mentions.

that's great! Entrees from $35-$45 reasonable for fine dining, what we'd expect. And the location/view/setup is worth paying the extra for. Any idea if there's a mooring ball/dinghy dock nearby if we want to stay on the water vs going into the marina?

WOW! Hadn't heard of this and we've dined at The Rock a couple of times. We will definitely have dinner there this summer and take your suggestion to be there for the sunset. Thanks. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />
