Several years ago, I read a novel based in St. Maarten. A young man goes there on vacation & winds up owning a charter boat. He goes thru a hurricane while there. Can anyone help me with the title?

I read that same book. Was very poorly written and that is why I probably can't remember the name.

I haven't read it, but I thought the Blanchard's book was about Anguilla..

It was about starting a restaurant on Anguilla but riding out a hurricane on SXM. Many of the landmarks on SXM were fun to read about.

Yes, you would love it. We even took a copy of it to Anguilla when we took a day trip to the island. Got it autographed and had a tour of the restaurant and area featured in the book.

Murder in the Raw was pretty good...the main characters are actually
guests at Club O. . Locations, e.g., restaurants in Grand Case, are named and recognizable. I left my copy in the Club O library two or three
years ago.
