With more snow coming <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumbsdown.gif" alt="" /> :thumbs down: thinking about future escaping to warmth for the winter months. No interest in any US southern state. I see lots of weekly rentals in the Orient Village area. What options are there for longer stays short of buying at Club Orient? No interest in being on the Dutch side either. Thanks in advance and not ready to do this for another couple of years

Usually multiply the weekly rate times 4 for the monthly rate in high season.

We recently stayed in the Orient beach area and rented through Homeaway,(tied to VBRO). I did see places that offered monthly rentals. The places I came across that offered monthly rates were less than the weekly rate times 4 weeks. If they don't show a monthly rate, ask what the rate would be. We rented a place elsewhere for 3 months and they gave us a nice discount over their monthly rate. Ask for a discount especially if you are renting for a few months. A bird in the hand...
