Has anyone heard anything about the beach being widened in front of Simpson Bay Beach Resort? The sales people are apparently telling people that the beach will be widened (to make an actual beach) in front of the Simpson Bay Villas to Kim Sha Beach.

I have no idea if it is fact but "sales people" (as in timeshare) have been known to mislead people on many fronts.

I would be surprised if the pier by BBB would be covered up to make a beach.

I agree but the "rumor" is pretty widespread across the resort. And I'm sure everyone knows the old chestnut about timeshare sales people. How do you know they are lying? Because their lips are moving.
Nonetheless, as they are redoing the Marina building this year, they are totally redoing the waterfront plaza. In theory that and the beach are all supposed to be done this year. I overheard a sales person tell a prospect that it had all been approved by the government.

Absolutely no idea. Plus in addition to the BBB dock, there is also the Aqua Mania dock. I also think that it is very odd there has been no mention of this in the Daily Herald.
