Not that I am aware of yet, but will request information about any slip discounts.

Has anyone been to Scrub this season? Wondering if they've fixed it up at all since last year? The place was looking pretty scrubby last year, no pun intended. They were not offering much of a discount and made me negotiate what little discount I got. Marina was essentially empty both nights and didnt seem to be that many hotel guests either. I don't understand their strategy at all...

Just returned from our trip and spent our third night at Scrub.
We were there two years ago, just before they went into receivership. About a week before we left, I received a call from their Tampa office offering a "get off the boat" special of $199.00 per night for a one bedroom suite. When we arrived, the harbor had plenty of boats but the resort itself seemed pretty empty. There were NO discounts for anything. We made friends with a few of the guests and actually ran into them on Virgin Gorda a couple of days later. Seems the guests are mostly honeymooners or retirees. We were a fairly rowdy crowd ( go figure) and was told we were getting some stink eyes from some of the older crowd during dinner. It's a lovely resort and the Admirals wish to spend an additional night next trip.
It's not cheap, but well run, showers and bathrooms are very nice and the food and staff are worth the cost.

I can not understand how anyone would spend thousands of dollars on a charter boat for a week and then get a hotel room. I would take the stay before or after the charter but no during <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" />

For what it's worth, that's what our crew does. With a 6 night charter, not including a sleep aboard, the seventh night is an awesome opportunity to shake-off any cobwebs, work on your land-legs and it's SOOO nice not to rush to the airport after checking-in a boat.

We didn't avail ourselves of the opportunity as we were only 3 days on board at that time. The facilities for mariners are more than adequate for our team.
I posted the special on the board shortly before we left, in case any one wanted to take advantage. I agree that after a week charter, an evening on shore in a posh room would be the perfect send off, but you still have to get back to base at a reasonable hour and then cab all the way back to the airport.
Does anyone know of any charter companies based out of Trellis or anywhere else near the airport?

Does the $249 include the resort fee?
