Newbie asks... :-)
In our RCI info sheet a few peculiarities are mentioned which need to be substantiated.
1. "Amenities include fully-equipped kitchens, stunning marble floors and panoramic balconies." Do the x02 units have panoramic view from their balconies?
2. "Occupancy taxes is 50 U.S. dollars." Any explanation?
3. "Multi Floor Elevator Access : No" Anything is possible and its converse too... Elevators are really out of order?
4. "...building...construction...noise because of jack hammering..." Should we be worried?
5. Resort features omit: secure parking, Wi-Fi service... are these available?
Thanks in advance for answering.

Long-time owner says there are a few inaccuracies with that information.

The kitchens are fully equipped - stove w/oven, separate microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator w/ice maker, pots and pans and utensils including tableware for four.

IMHO, the views from the 02 units is NOT what I'd call 'stunning' since those units face towards the medical university and overlook the parking lot but there are worse views on the island. Obviously, the higher the floor the better the view from your unit, and the medical university is an attractive property, but for sure, it's NOT the ocean.

There are two elevators and both were working in December when we left and there was no jack hammering going on anywhere.

The $50.00 will be paid for any timeshare unit you might rent anywhere on the island and is the government's timeshare equivalent to the taxing of a hotel unit rental.

There is a good sized free parking lot available to all guests and staff and there is wifi available in each room at no charge. Clearly, re the wifi, the more the users and their devices, the less terrific it becomes but I have never had a major problem with it, but as is so often the case across the island, it goes down, it comes back.

Thanks Pat!

Hopefully you did not have to shovel as much as the Bostonians had to earlier this week...
