I feel like I should pay you all for all of this information! You've basically planned my trip so far! Now on to Trellis Bay. We'll be there for the full moon party. I know we need to get there early...suggestions for what to do with the day? Also, what bar hosts the full moon party? Do they serve dinner? Or do you have suggestions of places to eat dinner in Trellis Bay? You all ROCK!

As for food....There is a buffet that I have seen others dis on TTOL but we thoroughly enjoyed it...I am not a vegan but they had a veggie lasagna that was GREAT! If it hasn't changed (haven't been to the FMP in a couple of years) You buy tickets when you get there for drinks and food and that is how you pay for things throughout the evening. Take some bug spray for your legs as I got eaten up when I was there by what I believe were sand fleas. As for what to do with the day.....I'll let others chime in on this....I don't know where you are staying...etc......so anything I suggest would be based on my likes...not yours or where you are staying. If you are on a boat, I suggest Marina Cay or reservations at Scrub. The nice thing about having reservations with a slip at Scrub is they have a ferry that will take you and bring you back and you don't have to fight the mooring ball crowd at Trellis. For those that don't know...you may want to offer-up if you are land-based or on a boat.

Oh, I can see where this would be helpful info...We are chartering a sailboat and were thinking of mooring in Trellis Bay.

This allows for you to have an "island time" style day no matter where you are coming from and arrive, get into your slip, enjoy the facilities at Scrub (GREAT SHOWERS, and GREAT POOL) and then make your way over to the FMP and back via the ferry. This way you don't get a DUI from those pesky island police that like to sit behind the speed limit signs near the reefs on Marina Cay! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" /> Enjoy!

Stoney or others, do you know how late the ferry back to Scrubb typically runs?

The last one leaves well after the FMP ends....but you'd want to contact Scrub for the actual details...UNLESS someone on here has a positive answer.

Stoney - Who did you contact for a slip reservation? Scrub is new since I've been down last. Bringing family and would prefer easy day and still be able to enjoy FMP.

Also "Binny", the resort manager at bsebastian@scrubisland.com has been pretty good at responding to me in the past.

Will there still be any food/drink? Since it was run out of the Cyber Café which is now closed, I assumed that was over.
