How soon will you be in sxm? Beach conditions change quickly, so if you are not coming this week, they could be completely different whenever you come. At the moment there is quite a step down to get into the water at Orient. Not too bad getting in, but difficult to get out at times!!!

As the other response stated, beach conditions change from day to day. Close to you will be Mullet, which SOMETIMES has a totally flat walk in area and SOMETIMES has a cliff. Dreams (Nettle Bay) usually is flat, but sometimes not. Generally Simpson Bay beach is flat, but again, there is no sure thing.

Le Galeon is easy to get in and out.

Le Galion and Pinel Island are usually dependable for easy access, however, the loading and unloading of the ferry to Pinel is not handicap friendly although they try to accommodate as much as they can.

Grand Case beach has little to no waves, drop off, current, etc. (some might say boring)

Friars is among the easiest beaches to visit in that you can drive right up to it and the waters are always calm. It is easy to get in and out of the water. This is one of the reasons it is a favorite among families with small children.

I have been to Friar's when the surf was terrifying. Things change on a moment to moment basis. You have to check things out on the day you go to any beach, and keep your eye on developments.

The water at Kim Sha is very calm near Buccaneer and Atrium but sometimes there is a drop off entering and exiting the water.

Anse Marcel and Le Galion are usually easy to access.
There is no place like SXM.

Since Anse Marcel is in a protected cove, the waters are almost always flat!
