Received my 2 times converter for my Nikon D70 in the mail yesterday. Didn't have much time, but I tried it out a bit on my back deck, trying to take pictures of some ducks in our pool (...which, by the way, are going to be REALLY disappointed, I suspect, when we open it up in a couple of months and dump lots of chlorine in it! ) Anyway, the converter worked fine with the autofocus with my 18 to 70 lens. The 70 to 300 lens, when I opened it all the way up, the autofocus didn't work right. I had read this might be a problem. So, at least I have about 30 days to try to figure out the manual focus settings on the camera!
