Have been trying to reach Dollar car rental but number continues to ring busy all day everyday. The numbers I have are 284-494-6093 and 284-495-4772. Any one know what's up with them? Are they still serving the island? Any help will be appreciated.

Imagine a roadside breakdown..and not getting thru....
Why not try one of the local (small guy) operators ?
Life is so much easier renting with most of them....

Agree with CGB. If they're not answering the phone, why bother to try and track them down?

That said, we have really enjoyed working with National. They worked with us and had what we needed at times that no one else could help us (car availability during busy season), so we've continued to go with them. Probably costs a few dollars per day more, but it works out great that they have bases all over the island.

Try Jerry's or DeDe's -- they're local, and they're both great!!!!

Deadman told me when I contacted him for last trip that he does not do one day rentals anymore.
