Have been on the island several times before, But coming in Feb with 2 other couples who like to golf. I know where the course is but wondering how much it is and where do you go to pay and play. Thanks Rick

The last time I looked, the fee was $100. If you drive through Maho by about 100 yards, the pro shop is down on the right behind the old reception center. here is a link on what you are looking for: http://www.travel-golf.org/golfing_st_maarten.htm

Save your money. It is a dog track. Play only if your are a golf addict. That being said, I can only imagine what it was or could be again with a LOT of TLC.

Quite a few foursomes playing as I drove through Friday afternoon. It looks better this year and you will definitely get a decent roll from your shots...not much difference between rough and fairway..

I have heard that there is a nice Greg Norman designed course on Anguilla.

I also noticed it was only 5800 yds. Rick, it sounds like you're describing Mahogany Run on St.Thomas

I'm not sure who designed it, but there is a golf course on Anguilla, yes.

the course in Anguilla is beautiful, belongs to the Cuisinart Resort, never played it, way too expensive for my shoot & chase the ball......seems to be busy....beautiful course....one year a lady thought she was special & was going over to play she was all decked out & made it known where she was going....she sat on the top deck of the ferry no one said anything.....well when she got off she looked like a drowned rat, the waves sure took her bob away.....kate <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/canada.gif" alt="" />

Anguilla's course is beautiful! We stay at CuisenArt for long weekends. The course on Sint Maarten sucks, my wife worked there 25 years ago when it was pristine, but as some have said, it is pretty much a dog trail at this point.

If I hauled clubs all the way to the island and saw that course, I would be very disappointed.
