Heh: Arriving STT at 10:30 pm on a Saturday night > staying at Best Western Carib Beach Resort near the airport. We will have some luggage. Is this a true walk or do we need to plan on taxi? thanks, rs

at 10:30pm, I would take a taxi. Why not call the taxi for their local views.

I walked from the hotel to the airport in the morning. We had one checked bag and two good sized carryons, no roller bags. I thought it was an easy walk of about 10 minutes. I don't know what it would be like at night.

We have both walked and taken a ride. Just bear in mind there's always a slight chance for a brief rain. (we encountered a very light 2 minute sprinkle. 10:30 at night, considering how dark it gets, I'd grab a cab.

It's an easy walk, but coming from the airport and late at night, might as well take a cab. You'll certainly be the first stop if its a crowded cab.
