Who makes the best pizza on the island? I realize this is a subjective question but throw out your suggestions to me please.

Our vote is for Pizza Galley, mostly because we love the oil they serve with it Driftwood is a close second and La Brasserie would be right up there too if they hadn't closed

I like the pizza at the DRiftwood Boat Bar. And they have a special. Large everything pizza with 2 beers for $22.

If this was before last year I would've answered Driftwood, but last year had a horrible experience there with the pizza and won't go back (even though it is literally right next to where we stay. So..my vote now is at Pizza Pasta. Great delicious pizza.

The best we've had was at La Belle Epoque (Marigot Marina).
I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.

If you like the French-style pizza with a very thin crust, two places come to mind: Dreams in Nettle Bay, and Kakao on Orient.

Villa Pizza in Cul de Sac (road to Pinel ferry). Everything is very good. I go for the pizza, wife and friends go for the Italian dishes. Never have been disappointed at Villa Pizza.

Our vote is Pizza Dan literally in the college right by Mullet Bay. Not much ambiance, order your pizza and sit and wait for it. Can get it to eat there or bring back to your room!!! It has a pic of a pizza on the street and you park and walk up to his window and order!!! Free wifi too!!!

Thanks everybody, lots to choose from. I have had Mont Vernon's pizza before and I forgot how good it was. Will have to try some of the others out.

for the past 7-8 years, my favorite was Drive-In Pizza, just outside the Mercure Hotel in Baie Nettle...their pizza did change somewhat 3-4 years ago, but although not as good as before, it was still pretty good...on our last trip a few weeks ago, they had moved to just outside the Simply Market grocery store in Sandy Ground, and i no longer thought the pizza was very special

they moved next door to simply some time ago, after the fire in the original location. haven't been, but hear it's still a decent place and now more of a take out versus restaurant as before.

We truly loved Drive In Pizza, in November my husband ordered a pizza, he called me in the states to tell me it was not good. We are going to try it again, we usually pick up one when we are in the area, as we live in Oyster Pond so it is a hike. What happened? For us it changed in November, always perfect before that date. And no, no new owners in November.

Pizza Pasta in Maho, next to Cherie's is pretty good stuff. We're from NYC, and naturally there is no better pizza in the world than whats here in NYC, but Pizza Pasta is a good island alternative. P/S----Never had Driftwood...but we'll try it when we return this summer.

Funny, many people don't like IZI but I think the owner and food are great. Some like Pizza Pasta in Maho, which has the most bland Italian food I've ever tasted. It's the last place I would recommend for pizza. We have some of the best pizza in the world in NJ/NY and it tastes nothing like pizza from here.

Ok...all the pizza talk made me want some so we walked to Pizza Galley tonight...first time
I love thin crust pizza and my "PJ's Special" was up there with the best...the spicy oil added some wham to it. Really good pizza....not "really good for SXM" but really good pizza period.
