Update on this subject. For several years we have parked at Miami Park N Fly, now called The Parking Spot. A month or so ago, I was totally blown away, when they wanted $23 a day, even if you are a member of their parking club. It was going to be way over $300 for our 10 days in June. I started looking for hotels and didn't really find anything I wanted. I didn't book anything, until just recently, when I got an email from them. Apparently, their business model now is to run sales, and their regular prices are out of sight. If you a member of their club, you get emails about the sales. They are running a sale now for the summer, with prices around $12-$15 a day. Apparently the sale ends tomorrow, for anyone who needs to book.

Thaks is a decent break. It is sad what one has to go through to get a "deal" today.

At the Nashville international airport they have accessible parking for handicap autos with either hangers or permanent handicap tags. All you do is send in the paperwork and they send you the sticker and membership card in the mail. When we come to St Maarten for 3 weeks it is over $700.00 and we never have to pay a penny. Free to all that join the program. Also the handicap parking is always close to the main terminal. You should check to see if your airport offers this if you have a handicap hanger.

This must be specific to just a very few airports, with Nashville being one. From what I could see, it is limited to 10 days. I checked a few other airports and basically none of them offered this, unless there was free parking for others. I guess it is a good deal in your case. https://flynashville.com/airport-accessibility/accessible-parking-program

This may be kind of confusing but some more ideas..........
We are leaving from Newark on Sunday on United EWR-SXM-EWR for 2 weeks. We live in MD and were having a hard time getting a reasonable parking deal. We ended up doing two park and fly, 8 days each. So we got a room before the trip and a room at the end of the trip with 16 days parking. Cost a total of $500, Crown Plaza EWR. We are happy with this.
Last year we flew out of Dulles VA for a 4 week trip to SXM. Dulles is about 1.5 hours from our home. We rented cars each way Home-IAD, IAD-Home. Ended up costing about $250 total with Hertz.

Carol,
While I was in the DR I got the message about the sale. I just got home a few hours ago and booked by parking for June. It was $14.78 per day plus fees of 1.40 per day for indoor parking. Indoor was cheaper than outdoor for some reason. For some reason, the saving is listed as a AAA discount.
Checkin in for the parking was easy. Coming home we were lucky to find the van just as we left the airport building. Strange situation in Miami. They pick you up on the departure level. no big problem, but after clearing custom we had take an elevator down one level and then find a escalator to the departure level. A nice pilot helped us find our way.

Yes, it is odd how you have to meet them when you are coming home. It makes sense though, as it is easier for them to find a place to pick up people on the departure level. We never have had to wait more than a few minutes for their shuttle. That is one of the best things about their service. After a long day coming home, it is the WORST, to have to wait forever for a shuttle at the airport.
