I know nothing about him, but it can't be much worse than Brian Mingo. It seems as if they are a "local" they get a free pass.

For the record , Mr. Michael Cleaver is American and has no knowledge of the Dutch Language, hence his back up Colleague would be Dutch person .

Michael is a great guy, I know him personally as we were living in the same condo, and he has plenty of experience having been at the helm of Winair and having managed it quite well even trough the Covid era.
He will do well

That someone that doesn't speak Dutch can't get the job done when most everyone on Dutch side speaks English? Please explain.

Since you got your statement wrong within the first 3 words, why should anyone believe the rest of your statement? How do you know that he doesn't speak Dutch? He has lived on St Martin for decades. It appears you knew little about him as well and perhaps should have educated yourself also. I hope he does well and accomplishes things in a timely manner. The airport, local residents and visitors deserve better than what it has experienced since Irma.

Strange that someone who has so much experience in the "industry" cannot be found on Linkedin by adding either "airline", "Winair" or "Airport" to a search.
Apart from that, no successful CEO would want to get mixed up in the corrupt, nepotistic and useless gang that are in charge in SXM.
Maybe time to stop spreading fairy tales.

If I'm not mistaken you can be invited to Linkedin to write your own review and Bio. I was invited for my business but never followed through.

You don't have to be invited. Almost all executives who care for their careers are on Linkedin.
In addition the successful ones pick and choose their jobs and don't join cronky dysfunctional organizations.
Time will tell us how Mr Cleaver performs.

You don't have to be invited. Almost all executives who care for their careers are on Linkedin.
In addition the successful ones pick and choose their jobs and don't join cronky dysfunctional organizations.
Time will tell us how Mr Cleaver performs. Correct and being on Linkedin should not be a factor. I had a friend who was on Linkedin once and the profile they had was not accurate. Personally, I would not put much stock in the Linkedin connection.

My last point on this discussion, is that our Daughter Kenya Ashira Bruce works for Prime Video in Canada and via Instagram he has gotten I million likes , sa la vie 😊👍and she is Dutch and Canadian lol 😂
