Indeed. Yesterday checking in at Sopers Hole we had a family of four pop by in their dinghy and tell us where we would find a free mooring. "The painter is twisted under the ball. Follow us and we'll free the painter for you." Nice. Great nght swapping liveaboard cruiser stories at Pirate's Bight last night. Instant friends and a pocket full of boat cards.

Rick if it's the mooring ball I'm thinking of it's private and the owner ties the pennant under the ball. The one I'm thinking about is sort of in front of Frenchman's Boatyard, Sharn's place.
