Trip report Mar. 3—19, 2005

Did less than ever, sand gravity is great. Spent most of out time at the wonderful Belair Beach Hotel on Little Bay. This is truly our home away from home. One of the really nice things about timeshares is seeing many of the same people year after year.
Flights to and from direct from Newark, were full and fine.
Rented a nice white, Hyundai Getz
Ate at the new Gingerbread café at the hotel the first night and breakfast the first morning, and a couple times for lunch. Most of the food is better than in the past, but prices are higher. Happy hour is now 3:00-5:00, with service on the beach if desired. Know for years, our happy hour starts at 4:00. So we only had one hour to consume the regular amount. No problem, mon! Had the Rev. TBone back part of the time, our good friend Ruffus also on hand as well as Brenda.
We ate at Chesterfields three times. First two times were as good or better than ever, the third was an off night.
Mark’s Place was as good as ever. I had a giant pot of mussels(about 6 dozen)
The Hideaway was once again very good, such a nice place.
Had a burger at the TTOL party at SMYC. It was very good.
Sue won a discount at bingo for Antoine’s. We had a great dinner there there.
Pizza at Hot Tomatoes was good.
Bananas was good, especially the onion rings and stuffed Mahi Mahi
Tutta Pasta was closed on Sat., but we went another time. This place is a find.
Marty’s Gyros between Bananas and the Dolphin Casino is a fun and low cost place to catch a bite. We found the gyro meat to be salty, but otherwise good.
Halsey’s was our last night. Also Sue’s birthday. Great food. The Asian tuna served rare is wonderful. Even the seaweed salad was great.
Over all a great relaxing VACATION.
