Can’t believe our 8 days are up! Crazy thing is every year we do less stuff, yet find that it’s just never enough time. We are spending the morning killing time at D’s with rum punch, plane spotting, waves, and lunch. We like to get their salads turned into a wrap. They grill it quickly so the outside of the wrap gets crispy but the salad inside stays cold and crunchy. Today we did buffalo chicken with truffle fries. Plenty for two people and delicious. We wanted to come to D’s for the day earlier in the week but had reports of rough water, so with 4 ships in that day, it wasn’t worth the drive. It looks pretty rough today but beautiful as always. Just saw on our blink camera that our pet sitter has arrived for the last check in. Tonight we’ll be home.

Thanks for your reports. D's is one of our favorite places to kill time and good food too.
Safe travels.

Nice pics. Thanks for all your reports. Safe travels home.

Speaking of pet sitters, ours told us that her favorite times are when she pet sits for us. She gets to hang out in our pool and play with the dogs and occasionally take a nap with them. smile

D's does have great tasty food with a nice beach setting. Usually not a very good swimming beach most days because of the wave action.

Is your luggage in the car? Is it safe at D"s.

We had our things with us at the bar, with the exception of one suitcase of clothes in the trunk. We could see our car from that side of the bar. We weren’t doing any beach walking so our stuff was by our side throughout lunch. I know some strictly advise against it, but we felt fine in this instance with our valuables “on us”. We used to do this at Rusty Rocket before flying home because you could literally park your car next to your table. RIP that place.
