Went to Dasha last night. It is in the Starz casino complex across from the twin Fourteen towers. As many of you know it is a restaurant owned by previous owners of Sublime of Maho. It characterized itself as a steak/seafood restaurant. Got reservations, but none were needed, the place was empty. Just we two and a 7 person party which came just after us. No others came after that. Made us nervous but we are game for new restaurants. Two manhattans with JD were good. The bread and herbed butter was delicious- toasted bread like a corn bread but white. My wife ordered filet medium rare; I ordered a t-bone medium rare. Sides mashed potatoes and asparagus with a peppercorn sauce for me and mushroom sauce for the wife. My wife’s filet 8 oz. Looked and tasted fantastic. My t-bone looked like it was sliced on deli slicer- about a1/8 in thickness cooked as ordered but never had a thin Tbone steak like this before, Fat Tony’s has thicker steaks on their steak night. Give one more try next time if it is still there and try something else. Maybe rack of lamb which Sublime had a good recipe. After dinner, went to Starz casino. There were 4 people there counting us. All slot -like machines no gambling tables
As far as I could see. But won $54 on 6 $1 pulls. As far as I could tell, all is automated- depending of winnings. We only saw 2 humans that work there. One security guard and a little old lady who was a cleaner and informed employee.
But we won!

Baguette with jelly and butter for breakfast. Got my slow leaking tire fixed- picked up a small screw. Sand gravity on RP.
