Went to Pineapple Pete’s last night. Haven’t been there for a few years. My wife had her first lobster thermador. She loved it years ago. Last night was disappointment! My wife’s lobster was mostly bread filling, little taste. I had crab stuffed shrimp another specialty of Pete’s. Also, disappointed in that the “stuffing was 90% bread and crab flavoring. We used like this place. Something has happened and not for the good.
Went to La Sucrerie for breakfast goods. Again, a disappointment! No Chocolate!!!!!! The staff said they haven’t had chocolate for a couple of days. Awaiting shipments!!! So no pain au chocolat, no chocolate almond croissants, and no Nutella croissants. A big downer. We hope for the future. Today a bit windy lower humidity. Remained at RP. Hoping things get better on the food front. Tonight off to Bamboo House!
