Arrived from Newark NJ on Thursday 3/20. Good flight! Good until we get to entry kiosks. Literally, 8 out10 people did not fill out the form prior on line. Waited 40 mins.Why don’t they have separate lines for those who fill it out prior to arrival and another line for those who did not. Only common sense but it is St Maarten! . Traffic was bad since it was around 4 Pm. Plane landed at 3 we got to Princess Heights at 5. Grousing over. Relaxing on island now. Went Mama Pizza on Thursday night. Very good.
Day 2
Breakfast delivered by hotel to door for $10/per person 1 chocolate croissant; 1 regular croissant; coffee for 2 ; orange juice for 2; yogurt for 2 butter and jelly. A nice continental breakfast. Went “one love one life one island” in there new digs in Hope Estate for gifts for grand daughters. Much bigger store and now ; has a jumping cafe as part of complex. Then to KKo on Orient beach - same beach guys Marvin and Cedric, but Karl ,the bartender and former beach guy, left after 20 years to go to Playa beach Bar. Nice day on beach. At night went to Oasis in Oyster Pond. This place was jumping also. Never seen it so crowded. They were turning away walk in customers. We had reservations. It seems nowadays you need reservations for most every restaurant. We remember the days where you walk-in any restaurant without a reservation. My wife had a special lobster tagliatelle. She said was very good. I had duck breast. I ordered medium but it was overdone and a bit dry. The restaurant was straining under the glut of customers.
Today off to Royal Palm.

I encountered the exact sdame thing upon arrival on 2/23 that you did. Virtually every kiosk was occupied by someone who had NOT filled out the online form and no seperate line for those who did. It was excruciating to watch. Once I got to a kiosk, it would not take my picture and I was then sent to the manual entry line, which was quick.
