The PR cr*p for this thing seems to say they will be touting a private beach. Which of course cannot exist on SXM. Anyone know where this is supposed to be, in relation to Belair and Divi?

If I recall right, there is a pretty large area of vacant land near Belair so I would guess it may be in that area, especially since they mention Little Bay Pond.

I have spoken to gov people about this I don't understand why it so hard to understand. if you look at land surveys lots of properties have sand area well within their legal property boundaries and that would of course be their private property. SAND runs right up to lots of buildings foundations. I think the beach policy is gov land up to the high water line.

I may be incorrect but I believe the fact that all beaches are public refers to ocean beaches not ponds.

The area to the left of Gingerbread Restaurant (facing Belair from the water), has been a proposed site for several projects in the many years we've gone to the Belair. All have fallen through. Heavy equipment for the last one gouged out the base of the hillside but that's as far as that proposed "high end apartments and businesses" went. A lot of that area is a designated nature preserve so I would think that would limit usable land for developement. I suspect that the Laguna pitch is fishing for investors or just another scam.

In the pictures I've seen, it's right next door to Belair on the area that's now vacant beach.
