We had a beautiful day, I've got the sunburnt face to prove it. The winds were light but increased though out the morning but it made for a smooth ride on Tango. Captain Haresh is a professional, he maneuvered the Tango to be in the right place for the best experience for all on board, plus he has a good sense of humor. The crew was excellent and kept the drinks flowing. We met Wendell before we left the dock and JD you were right again he's quite the character and enjoyed meeting with him. If I'm ever on island at the same time with him again I would not hesitate to arrange another meeting. More than once I was engaged with one of his stories and my wife said to me you might want to get this picture as she is a sailor too. A great memorable day and the plunge in the SBR pool afterwards felt so good. I will need 2 posts to share my pictures.
Glad you had a good day and got to meet Wendell. He and I met through TTOL, traveled together for several memorable trips to the island and met up several times in OH and MO.
Haresh is first class when it comes to a Regatta chase boat.
