On the way back to SBR we needed a case of water so stopped at Market Garden on the corner of Billy Folly Road and Welfare Rd for those that don't know. I stayed in the car while my wife went into the store. The sign at the skid of water said $8.99. but at the cashier he said $9.99, she left the water on the counter and walked back to the water display and ripped the price tag off the wall and brought it back to the cashier and said no it's $8.99. Good for her.

Good for her! ...although I gotta say, if it were ME, I'd say "honey, why don't YOU go into the store, so I don't have to lug a case of water... " devil

This reminds me of my purchase of milk at Carrefour last week, I bought 2 half gallons of 2% because they were out of skim, the sign on window says buy 2 and get a big discount.. I didn't notice that I was charged full price until getting back to the resort. So this week I took the receipt to the manager when buying milk again and was told that sign was for skim milk only. And in the past 3 years I've bought milk there twenty times or more and have never seen a sign designated skim milk only.
Maybe now they will list what is covered and what is not.
A lesson learned, check receipts
