Just a few thoughts and a few pics on our first trip to P'Burg. Driving to P'Burg was pretty smooth took about 20 minutes from SBR, but the traffic towards Simpson Bay was pretty slow when we left around 10am. Drive back was about 35 minutes. No complaints, I guess it's all about the timing.
We parked at Bobby's Marina and headed down Front St to do some shopping and pulled out the CC in the very first store we went into, not a good sign. My first impression was that Front St has been completely been rebuilt and looking fresh since Irma. The far end (west end) could still use a TLC. We stopped at the usual stores we like and know that we're in trouble when the shop owners recognize you and say welcome back. Went into a new jewelry store that was recommended to us (Neil's) and Mrs Whale Tail almost got a new ring and NO Carol I didn't screw up this time laugh. There is still time for that as we plan on a couple of more trips to P'Burg.
Stopped at Juggies and he was pretty busy as there was 3 ships in but we stayed for a couple of drinks but didn't get a Krave burger as he was busy also. Told Juggie that Dr Phil says hi and he said tell him I don't miss him grin. Then we went to Nu Love on the Boardwalk to have a drink and some mozzarella sticks and visit with friends there. All in all a good day.

We were there at the end of February just before we left for home. We stopped at DK Gems for a bracelet repair work and ring polishing.
We used to own a villa at the far end of the boardwalk at Villas on Great Bay so we went to P,burg often.
We bumped in to the "Candy Man" that used to own a candy store on the boardwalk which was destroyed by Irma. We did go to Juggies too and Rose's bar.
A great place to visit. Glad you had a good time.
