We did one last year but it was the around the island race day. I think that I can get better pictures on a course race day. I got the schedule from the Tango office.
Great pictures of Regatta are somewhat a function of chance. A stiff wind, but not a gale, for the safety of the boats themselves. Although we have seen several broken masts over the years, which is an expensive proposition for them. The worst thing is no wind at all. On the chase boat, a skilled captain who knows how to get close to the action, without interfering with the race, is big. I miss being there for it. Eric is doing taxes now, so definitely no March trips for him, for now. Enjoy!!!
If masts are breaking I don't want to be out there. Ideally to be at the mark on the down wind leg with the spinnaker sails up with multiple boats would be perfect. But it's all about being in the right spot at the right time. And it helps not having a rum punch in the other hand
