Hi, has anyone had a connection in St Thomas on a Cape Air flight recently? I want to fly into STT from JFK and then take a Cape Air flight. Will I have to get off the plane and then have to go back through security to catch the Cape Air flight? I'm trying to figure out timing on the Cape Air flight.

No, you will not go back through security to catch a Cape Air flight.

Unless you have checked bags and are unable to check them through. In that case you will need at least two hours and 3 would be better in the 11 to 2 timeframe.

Thanks for the replies. Cape Air is flying STT to Vieques now and the flight times are better and cheaper than going through SJU. This new option is a good one for me. I hope they keep it up.
