Chartering from Waypoints in STT. We had an unfortunate slip and fall with a severe cut to the leg for one of our crew Sunday night in Kelly’s Cove on Norman. We controlled the bleeding but knew we needed stitches. 11 pm call to Waypoints and a few options later I am on with Andrew the Nanny Cay base manager. We told him the situation and the plan to leave at first light and head to their base and he said to call when we were just about there. Followed the plan, docked in the end of an available dock and he had a cab there for us to get the crew and spouse to the hospital, all before 730a.m Around, 9 they moved us into a slip gave us power, water and told us to stay as long as needed no charge. Crew was back aboard with 6 stitches before noon and we were on our way. Andrew and Stephon could not have been more gracious and welcoming. Changed our planned schedule a bit, but they helped make a stressful situation better.

Glad it worked out so well. Don't forget when in the BVI VISAR (dial 767 in the BVI) is always on call for emergencies.

I did call them as I planned for the potential that we could not control the bleeding. Very helpful call to them.
