We’ve enjoyed staying on the island, but we’re arriving on a cruise next month. We just want to head to a beach bar in Simpson Bay so our friends who are visiting for the first time can walk over to Maho if they want.
Questions please - Any idea on the taxi fare for 4 people from the cruise pier to D’s, for example? Any taxi recs? And Google maps shows the route to D’s going around the airport and through Maho to get to D’s, for example. Is that accurate? Or can the driver get to D’s and other sections of Simpson more directly? Thanks!

Thanks. Not sure how far a walk it is across Simpson, does it make sense to get dropped at Mary Boon’s and walk to D’s? I remember how bad traffic can be in Maho…

No, do not get dropped at Mary's and walk to D's. Long way.

You can do that, but it is a hike.
