Only been to the one in Cole Bay but my friends noted 2 Carrefour Expresses just west of …Mullet.
Assume the pricing is the same but is either one of these larger or have more selection? One looks closer to fat Tony and the other closer to the boundary flags, seems odd they are so close together.

I would not assume the prices would be the same, but I could be mistaken. They are not near as large.

Not odd at all, the one in Porto Cupecoy services the entire complex, lots of units. Plus on the border so you get Terres Basses. The one in Jordan Village is great for all the College kids and the entire Cupecoy area. There is also a Market Garden in Cupecoy. All three are great. Yes more selection at the one in Cole Bay and in town; but you can always find what you need or an alternative.

I think that Elaine said a while ago that the prices in Cupecoy were not the same as the bigger stores, but I could be wrong.
However, I did learn something today. Did not know that there is a Market Garden in Cupecoy. Where is it?

The old “citrus” restaurant and market. They have a food counter as well. We get sandwiches there all the time, super inexpensive. Honestly for vacationers the prices aren’t awful at Carrefour. If I was living full time I would go elsewhere or buy some items in bulk. Not worth driving around to save a few bucks. We go to all 3 when we don’t feel like driving far.

Prices are generally a little better at the Carrefour in Cole Bay, but the prices at the Porto Cupecoy store are pretty close. That said, the variety of produce, fish, and virtually everything is far greater at Cole Bay than at the smaller stores in Cupecoy. For the best prices, of course, it's worth going to Super U in Marigot.

I have always been able to find what I need at the Jordan Village store and not necessarily at the Puerto Cupecoy store. I really like the Jordan Village store for quick pick-ups.

Kim--OK, I know where that was. I kind of knew there was something else that went in there again, but didn't pay any attention, I guess.
Agreed, the prices most places on island aren't that much different, but I go to the large stores for the selection.

I find some prices better on island than back home depending on where you shop and what you buy.

I find some prices better on island than back home depending on where you shop and what you buy. Seriously. Inflation on Long Island seems much higher while SXM feels like a deal.

We have been shopping at these three stores for the last five weeks. The Carrefour in Porto Cupecoy has the best selection but the prices are similar unless you go to the larger one in Cole Bay where there is a larger selection and better prices.

What about the one by Mark's? That has always been my favorite.

That one by Mark’s would have similar prices to the one in Cole Bay.

The one by Mark's is much easier to get around in, the produce area at the Cole bay store is a mess and the isles are narrow. The prices by Mark;s are the same or sometimes better than at the other stores .
