Anybody know why this product is unavailable anymore?

Any recommended alternatives?

I use Skinsations in a pump bottle. Works great for me.

I used to buy Mosquito Milk at the Market Garden but they haven’t sold it for a couple of years. Never asked why they no longer carry the product. I loved it. If you Google Mosquito Milk it is evidently available for purchase in the UK.
NECTAR is a product made here on SXM. They have Bug 0%…one product is sweet almond oil & essential oils which is a spray & the other Bug 0% is a lotion. Both are mosquito repellants and work well but I still miss using Mosquito Milk.

Something about the distributor passing away. Why another couldn't be secured, I don't know.

Check a pharmacy on the French side. I got it at the one in Grand Case. But, alas, they no longer had the Rose Powder I loved so much. I thunk it was because it was talc.

From what I recall, the active ingredient was DEET and at a high concentration (20% ?) and some herbal exttracts. I would look for something with a high concentration of DEET and try that. I bought an herbal product at a SXM pharmacy in August and it did not do that good of a job

My recollection is that there were EU restrictions due to the percentage of DEET in Mosquito Milk. Try a pump bottle of Deep Woods Off, which is 30% DEET.

If you want a roll-on, look for Net Effect, which has 20% DEET.

Canadians may want to try this stuff if they have room in luggage. I’ve been using it for years at home, SXM and while visiting in-laws in the Northern Quebec bush. It’s crazy good and unscented too. Canadian Tire and Amazon.ca carry it.
